Our department aims to educate the future enlightened mathematicians and scientific leaders with an ambitious and innovative education approach.

 

We see our students as an investment in the future. By fostering dynamic experiential learning and research opportunities as well as promoting life-long learning under the guidance of a dedicated world-class faculty, we help prepare students for future employment and study.

 

Through research, discovery and community projects, our students develop their own scientific awareness, become responsible citizens, and learn to reflect their knowledge on the problems that need to be solved to achieve a better world.

Together with our reputation for discovery, innovation and research excellence, we aim to raise awareness of both our students and the community on scientific issues.

 

Our students hav the opportunity to take courses given by various academicians from seven sub-departments: Algebra and Number Theory, Geometry, Theory of Analysis and Functions, Topology, Fundamentals of Mathematics and Mathematical Logic, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. They can continue their education by choosing any of the three options: Theoretical Mathematics Weighted Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Weighted Mathematics Options, and Computer Science Weighted Mathematics.
